Your veil will arrive steamed and hanging in a dress bag. Keep it hanging inside the bag in a cool, dry room away from direct sunlight and pets to help prevent creases from developing.

Before and after the day

A day or two before the wedding, unfold your veil and use the hanger hook and clip provided to secure it by the comb. Hang it with the train resting gently on a clean floor or over a clean sheet. Most creases will drop out naturally. If they need a little help, lightly mist the tulle with warm water and leave it hanging to dry.

Do not steam your veil, as the heat could damage the delicate tulle, particularly areas embellished with feathers, pearls or crystals.

After your wedding, we recommend having your veil professionally cleaned by a specialist bridal cleaner. They can also preserve it in a box with acid-free tissue paper for long-term storage.

Tell us if you would like words embroidered into your veil.
